Full-Time Faculty Appointment in Marriage and Family Therapy:
On behalf of the ACTS Seminaries Consortium, Canadian Baptist Seminary is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor of Marriage and Family Therapy. This fulltime faculty position involves three areas of responsibility: ongoing relationships with host clinics, classroom instruction within the Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) program, and clinical supervision of MAMFT students. This appointment starts Fall 2012.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An earned doctorate relevant for a seminary based MA-MFT program;
- Experience teaching at the graduate level;
- Certification as an AAMFT Clinical Member and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor;
- Expertise in Spirituality/Integration of Psychology and Theology;
- The ability to sign at least one faith/denominational statement of the partner seminaries of ACTS Seminaries; and
- An appreciation for cross cultural ministry and counseling practices.
