Canadian Baptist Seminary and ACTS Seminaries are seeking an outstanding, warm-hearted and experienced ministry leader to oversee their Doctor of Ministry Program, to serve as a teaching colleague on the ACTS Seminaries core faculty, and to contribute vitally to the life and ministry of Canadian Baptist Seminary. This position will lead in marketing, student supervision, curriculum planning and faculty assignments for the DMN program. Teaching up to twelve credit hours per academic year at either or both Masters and Doctoral levels as required, there is also opportunity for this person to function as an “international presence” for Canadian Baptist Seminary and ACTS Seminaries.
A successful candidate will possess graduate qualifications in theological studies with an earned doctoral degree in education, leadership, missiology or some other aspect of theological education. They will have ten years of ministry experience, including successful teaching at the graduate level. This person will have an entrepreneur’s approach to graduate level education, eager to re develop the Doctor of Ministry program in numbers and impact. The position requires experience with the disciplines of research at the doctoral level and a commitment to team work within an academic setting. Candidates must be able to join and heartily endorse the faith commitments of Baptist General Conference and the ACTS Seminaries. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
